趨化因子是當今細胞因子研究領域的熱點之一,它參與多種免疫及炎癥反應,在感染、腫瘤的生長與轉移、組織修復及創(chuàng)傷愈合等病理生理過程中發(fā)揮重要作用.
C-C型趨化因子受體4（CCR4）在Th2細胞表面有大量表達.CCR4在腫瘤的生長與轉移方面起到一定的作用。
Receptors for the C - C chemokine family include CCR1, CCR2A, CCR3, CCR4, CCR5 and the Duffy blood group antigen. The C - C receptors are important in the function of T cell chemotaxis and migration of phagocytic cells to sites of inflammation. CCR4 is preferentially expressed on type 2 helper T （Th2-type） cells. In contrast to other chemokine receptors, the expression of CCR4 and CCR8 on Th2 cells is transiently increased following TCR and CD28 engagement. Moreover, activated Th1 cells up-regulate CCR4 expression and functional responsiveness to thymus- and activation-regulated chemokine.
